Dee Hoty was seen at the Two River Theatre in Red Bank, NJ this fall starring as Eleanor in THE LION IN WINTER. Directed by Tyne Rafaeli, the production opens November 12th and runs through December 4th. The cast also includes Michael Cumpsty, Noah Averbach-Katz, KeiLyn Durrel Jones, Ronald Peet, Hubert Point – Du Jour, and Madeleine Rogers. Set during Christmas 1183, THE LION IN WINTER crashes through castle doors as King Henry II of England, his wife Eleanor of Aquitaine, and their sons Richard, Geoffrey, and John spend a memorable holiday revisiting old wounds — and making new ones — as they fight over who will rule the land after Henry’s death. Dee Hoty opened BRIGHT STAR, the new Broadway musical with music and book by Steve Martin and music and lyrics by Edie Brickell, at the Cort Theater.
